Famous for its wildlife and picturesque views of the Kirk Loch, Lochmaben Golf Course is a challenging experience for any golfer. The course is one of the best examples of a parkland course in the area, is very well kept and, due to the excellent drainage work the greens staff have put in , golf is available all year round.

Located only 4 miles from the M74, Lochmaben is well within travelling distance from many parts of the country, with Dumfries and Galloway being a fabulous area to visit.

“Had a very enjoyable round of golf here. Holes 2 and 3 are a bit of a challenge but get those out of the way and the rest of the course is a delight. Very scenic and in beautiful condition. There is a well appointed club house with very welcoming staff and good quality and very reasonably priced food.”

“One of the highlights of the Golf season is a trip to Lochmaben Golf Club.  Whether it’s part of a stayover or just for one round it’s well worth the visit.  There is always a warm welcome and the course is a great layout with varied and challenging holes. There are stunning views as you play your way around the Loch.  Then it’s back to the Clubhouse for some fabulous home cooked food.  I’m really looking forward to my next visit, which will be followed by many more.”
